Liverpool opened its new cruise berth on 21st September 2007. It was a significant date and an historic one, as once again Liverpool renews its links with the great ocean liners, with the opening of The City of Liverpool Cruise Liner Terminal by HRH Duke of Kent.

This wonderful occasion also coincided with the worlds most famous ocean liner, the prestigious QE2, returning to her spiritual home as part of her 40th anniversary UK cruise. 

The opening of the cruise terminal symbolises the regeneration of our wonderfully eclectic World Heritage city.
